Every November each year the Leonids or meteor shower show up as the Earth passes celestial debris. According sa Leonids.org:
The 2006 Leonids should be a great year for increased meteor activity because the earth will encounter the 1932 dust trail of comet Tempel-Tuttle. There will also be a new moon which means that the skies will be dark and ideal for watching meteors. The peak is predicted at 04:45 UT on November 19, with a peak rate of about 100 per hour, visible from western Europe and western Africa. In North America, 1am to 4am on November 19th is the best time to watch. The Leonids run from November 10 to 23 and will exhibit an increase in activity during this period.
Hehehehe….
